He is then required to visibly display the snake...
hanging from his pocket, hat brim or around his neck...
until the next player three putts.
During
play, the Snake is passed from one three-putter
to the next. At the end of the round, the last player
holding the snake is the loser and has to pay up.
Continued use may improve your putting.
After all, no one wants the snake.
